Rossini G. Gamalinda, Chief Executive Officer Professional Background Rossini Gamalinda, known as Ronnie, started his career in banking in 1973 at CITIBANK in Manila, Philippines. He acquired most of his training and banking experiences from CITIBANK and moved on to his banking career and joined other local commercial and mortgage banks in the Philippines. At a very young age of 26, he was recognized as the youngest senior ranking executive in the savings and mortgage banking arena. In 1985, Ronnie joined the BANK OF AMERICA real estate and mortgage lending group headquartered in San Francisco, California as a Production Officer for the home loan division. After few years, he then moved to other Los Angeles banks within the LA county area and established the primary and secondary mortgage market business for these banks. His total number of years of experience in the mortgage banking industry is about 25 years. As a mortgage professional, his expertise lies in organizational and marketing management particularly in the establishment of wholesale and retail operations, product development, underwriting and risk management, servicing and investor accounting, warehousing and quality control, staffing and training. After a successful career in mortgage banking as an employee, Ronnie put up a small mortgage broker outfit in the late 80’s. He became one of the principal owners of the mortgage and real estate business he established in Los Angeles. Envisioning the need for an aggressive second mortgage product in the marketplace, Ronnie then elevated MORTGAGENET.WORK’s lending capacity to a correspondent lender and became one of the primary sources of second mortgage products in the mid 90’s. MORTGAGENET.WORK also specialized in the conforming and jumbo conventional mortgages and second trust deed products such as the stand alone seconds and the piggy-backs. Likewise, he also put up GAMACOR PROPERTIES INC., a real estate company operating in southern California and MCIG Capital Corporation, a correspondent lender specializing in Alt-A and sub-prime product, to supplement the mortgage product with a “one stop shop” service package to also include the real estate sales part of the deal. Now that the industry is faced with the reality of the current market turmoil in the mortgage and real estate environment, Ronnie plans to concentrate solely in the origination of loans in a mortgage broker capacity with MortgageNet.Work. He believes that educating existing and prospective homeowners of the risk and benefit of home ownership in the United States is going to be MortgageNet.Work’s integral part of its origination process. Out of its own initiative, MortgageNet.Work will require its origination sources to allocate at least an hour with the client in this education process. Ronnie also works as a management and small business consultant in the field of real estate development, healthcare and finance. He was a recipient of the prestigious Filipino American Chamber of Commerce award named one of the Ten Outstanding Filipino American in the year 2006. He also received a Special Congressional Recognition Award for Community service from the US House of Representatives. Ronnie is active with his church Finance committee at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Chino Hills and with the Rotary Club of Rancho Del Chino. Ronnie is married to Rebecca Abesamis-Gamalinda and with no children. Rebecca works with the firm in-charge of operation and quality control. She is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of California. Educational Background Master of Arts degree in Management, Peter F.
